Nature field trip in Toraja was held on 14th-16th October.
First day
On first day we gathered at in front of Orange Building at Makassar Tourism Polytechnic and get ready to go to Toraja Regency. And have lunch at Kupa Beach Restaurant in Barru Regency.
And before lunch, we get welcoming drink. During lunch, we can see the beautiful view of kupa beach.
After lunch we continue our trip to Enrekang Regency. In Enrekang Regency we has coffee break. we enjoy our coffee break with mountains view.
After we take a coffee break, we continued our trip to Hotel Indra Toraja. And have a dinner at the restaurant near from the hotel. And after that we take a rest.
Second day
We start our journey. The first we are going to Lokomata. In there we can see the stone grave. After that we are continue our soft tracking and have a lunch at Mentirotiku Restaurant and eat papiong.
And after lunch, we continue our tracking. And during the tracking we can see daily life of Torajan (Toraja people). We also can see Tedong Bonga, the most popular thing in Toraja. And we also can see the process of making Toraja carving. And the last we also visit Baby Grave. And after that we back to the hotel and prepare for dinner. But before we arrived in hotel, we visit Todi. Todi is a place that we can get the special things of Toraja.
Third day
We get ready for check out from the hotel and back to makassar. But before we start, we visit the traditional market in Toraja, and that place near from the hotel. After that we get on the bus and go to Pare-Pare city at Teras Empang Restaurant to have a lunch.
And after that we continue the trip and go back to POLTEKPAR Makassar.
